Almeida's has been a family-run business since 2009. We've cleaned thousands of homes across the MetroWest area, and along the way this community has become our extended family. Cancer touches almost everyone we know. Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason is our way of showing up for our neighbors when it matters most — quietly, respectfully, and at no cost to the family.
What Cleaning for a Reason Is
"Cleaning for a Reason provides free home cleaning to patients battling cancer. When cancer makes life at home difficult, our trusted network of residential cleaners, cleaning industry volunteers, and community volunteers come together to support cancer patients and their families."
Founded in 2006 and now part of ISSA Charities (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit), Cleaning for a Reason has helped 65,000+ families, donated $23M+ in free cleanings, and works with 1,400+ cleaning companies across all 50 states and Canada.
Who Qualifies
Any woman, man, or child in active cancer treatment is eligible, for any type of cancer — recovering from surgery, in treatment, or in hospice care. Each patient receives two free home cleanings (one per month for two months).
